My first name is Ahmad and my last (family) name is Taheri. I am fourteen years old. I am an eighth grade student in junior high school. I am originally from Zanjan province, but I live in Shahriyar, one of the western suburban of Tehran province. I was born on the 14th of Bahman, 1382 in a small village near Zanjan. I grew up in a small family in which there are just four people, my parents, my younger sister and older brother. My father is a middle-aged teacher and makes living with teaching English in schools and institutes. He is very hard-working and friendly. My mother is a housewife. My younger sister is an elementary school student. My older brother is a twenty-year-old young man. He has high school diploma and works in a restaurant as a waiter. I like all the members of my family. In my free time, I watch cartoon or play computer games at home as a hobby. I am quite clever and hard-working student and study my lessons carefully every day. I was one of the top students of the class with average of 19.3. My favorite school subject is English, because my father has taught me English from my childhood. My best friend at school is Reza Fatemi. He is very sociable and lovely. My favorite sport is football because it is very exciting and entertaining. I try to watch all the football matches on TV. I don’t like martial arts (sports), because they are full of violence. In the future, I like to become a doctor because I can help the people of my country.
